Description
My place is close to the Offas Dyke and Clwydian Mountains. From the breakfast bar you get stunning views of the mountains. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with children). The space A cosy cottage based in the foothills of the Clwydian Mountains. The cottage with its loft conversion sleeps 4, in a cosy double bed upstairs and a fun double Murphy bed downstairs. There are also extra put-me-up beds and travel cot available upon request making the accommodation available for six people plus a baby. As you enter the building you will be in the fully equipped kitchen; it has a fridge/freezer, microwave, dish washer and gas cooker. There is also a breakfast bar that looks out into a beautiful garden with stunning view of Moel Famau in the distance. The wet room is entered at the end of the kitchen and this has a fantastic rain shower. From the kitchen another door leads you into a large lounge and dining area, with comfortable sofas and stunning views over the fields to the mountains. In the lounge behind sliding doors you will find the Murphy bed fully equipped with reading lights and cosy bedding. French doors lead to a small private garden with patio area and BBQ, although this is fenced off from the main garden, this can be accessed by a small gate allowing you the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful plants and shrubs. There are loft stairs (a quirky narrow staircase) leading to a long cosy bedroom with a comfy double bed from where you can lie and look at the stars or pull down the blackout blinds for a long sleep. At the top of the stairs you will find comfy chairs and a small table where you can just sit relax and read your favourite book or one you have borrowed from the bookcase in the lounge. Guest access You will have access to the entire cottage, private garden and use of a shared shed. There is also access to the main garden. Other things to note As we do live in the country we do have cats, dogs and chickens however they are not allowed in the cottage and the cottage is totally self contained with a wooden fence to keep the animals in our garden not yours. As we live on a single track lane we do request that you reverse onto the parking area so that when leaving you can do so in a forward motion, to enable you to see if there is anything else on the lane before pulling out. We are happy to park the car for you should you require it.
