Keanna is a family-run cottage nestled amidst orchards & forests, in a Himalayan village untouched by the distractions & decadence of modern life. Enjoy the beautiful outdoors with long walks in the hills, treks to the river & day trips to nearby Mukteshwar & Nainital. Or simply soak in the sun at home with a book or a movie. Note: Covid-19 negative report needed The space We offer 3 beautiful and spacious rooms, each with their own distinct character and decor - hand-crafted for your comfort. Rosemary & Thyme - This is a suite - a sun-room along with a bedroom. Well suited for a family/group of 4-5 adults. - It houses a queen-size bed and can accommodate 2 extra-beds, with a day-bed in the sun-room. - There is a full, private bath, attached to the bedroom. - This is a separate room from the main house, accessible from the garden, down a flight of stairs. Mustard - This room is perfect for a couple or a group 2 adults and 2 children. - It houses 2 single beds (can be joined) and can accommodate an extra single bed. - There is an open sit-out outside the room. - There is a full, private bath, attached to the bedroom. - This is a separate room from the main house, accessible from the garden, down a flight of stairs. Attic - The attic is a large space with a covered sit-out and an attached, private bath. - It has 3 separate, single mattresses and can accommodate 3-4 adults. - This room is part of the main house, and is accessible from the living room, up a flight of stairs. Guests can use the living room, dining room, veranda and outdoor spaces. There is a common television and DVD player in the living room, and an assortment of DVDs and books. Breakfast is served in the dining area, and may be served outdoors, weather permitting Lunch and dinner is available on request at extra cost, and will be served in the dining area. Dinner will be served no later than 8:30 PM. The kitchen is not accessible to guests, to ensure the quality and standard of our meals. Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or preferences in advance. Guest access The living room, dining room, main verandah and gardens are the common spaces accessible to all guests. Meals are served in the dining room. Electric kettle along with tea/coffee is provided in each room. This listing only includes stay and breakfast, lunch and dinner can be arranged at an additional cost and prior notice. During your stay Devika, the owner and host, lives at the property, and her daughters Piya and Payal visit frequently. The guests are looked after by Devika, along with her staff of two efficient and affable ladies, Munni and Sunita. The hosts are very friendly and accessible, and are happy to engage in interesting conversations or provide suggestions and tips for local site-seeing and activities during your stay.
