Lovely City Centre Apartment, Sleeps 2 + 2
Lovely City Centre Apartment, Sleeps 2 + 2
Description
Cosy and comfortable one bedroom flat on the 2nd floor of a Traditional Edinburgh building dating from the 19th century in central location. The common stairwells are in need of redecorating and don’t look great, but the flat inside is really lovely and so are the neighbours. It's very central and walking distance to most places if interest and very well served by public transports. You will find numerous restaurants, supermarkets and pubs on your doorstep. The space Flooring and doors are not in mint condition but are charming and in character with traditional Edinburgh city flats. BEDROOM: The bedroom has a large super king size bed, ample storage space and hangers provided. My cleaners place fresh, hotel quality linen and towels on your bed prior to arrival. Please notice the boiler is in the bedroom. KITCHEN/LIVING AREA: The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for your stay - hob, oven, fridge, toaster, utensils and washing machine. There is also a foldable dining room table and chairs if you choose to eat in. The living area is comfortable and cosy, making this a great spot for dining and relaxing in. You will also find a guitar there which you are welcome to play. There are two futon sofas with a solid oak frame, which pull out into two children beds (L190 x D80cm, thin mattress). Not suitable for full size adults. Please let us know in advance which sleeping arrangements you require. BATHROOM: Very functional bathroom and good shower. We supply hand soap and basic toiletries for our guests. Please notice there are no electric sockets in the bathroom. There is a full body mirror in the hall just outside the bathroom. Guest access Guest will have access to the entire property during their stay by collecting keys from a lockbox at the entrance of the building. Other things to note The common stairwell are being cleaned twice a month. Despite this they don’t look nice at the moment. Also recently I’ve had complaints of smell of cigarettes in the common stairwell and I am not able to address this issue. If this is a problem for you please do not book my place. Parking is restricted in Brunswick Road, but it's free evenings and week ends. Free parking at other times is available in nearby streets, 10 minutes walk from the flat. I normally park in Albion Road, off Easter Road, so far I have always found a space when I needed it.
