Casa do Ananas, cliff-top/ocean-front villa, Pico

Casa do Ananas is a large property, extending to over 3,000 sq.ft. It was built to a high specification with; 3 bedrooms, 2 en-suite bathrooms, twin bedroom on the lower ground floor, open-plan kitchen and dining room with large terrace overlooking the bay of Lajes. The property enjoys a generous sized plot overlooking the sea. The house is split level with external terraced gardens and a large swimming pool & sun terrace. The space Casa do Ananas is the long time dream of husband and wife Edna and James. We bought the land 24 years ago. We spent 5 years seeking development consent and getting the design just right to satisfy ourselves (and the planners). Edna was born on the island and, whilst we now live in the UK, she remains at heart an Acorean. The whole island is really one extended family and our times on Pico are always full of family fun. This project is intended to provide a retreat for our family but also to pay for itself by being rented out. Guest access We rent the whole house at the same rate whether you are a couple or a group of 6 Please let us know if the bedding arrangements as described are not suitable for you. The queen size bed can be separated to form two single beds. Shortly before you arrive we will email across directions and access arrangements. If you let us have your mobile number we will contact you after you arrive to check if everything is as you would wish. Other things to note Pico has only two beaches. It does however have many safe natural rockpool swimming areas, enhanced and improved, for the public to use. The nearest of these is directly in front of the villa, less than a minute walk away. Each village has its own swimming area favoured by locals and visitors alike examples are shown in the photos. No two are the same. The variety of fish and under water life on show in these crystal clear waters is a wonder to behold. Registration Details no.2423
