M Krishnan Nair with Tamil architectural influences, has been beautifully restored by Ajesh and Myriam Shankar, preserving the original woodwork and unique rafter carvings. During your stay As much as they want Other things to note Best time to visit: The best time to visit Krishna Villas is from September to May, when the weather is pleasant and cool at night, perfect for enjoying the gardens and terraces. The rainy season from June to August is also a beautiful time, as the landscape is washed in various shades of green. The local Cuisine: Try the famous Ramassery idlis, which are served with a tasty potato or mutton stew made with coconut milk and mild spices. How To Get There: To get to Krishna Villas by road, you can take the NH7 from Bengaluru to Salem, then follow the Salem-Ernakulam Highway towards Coimbatore and turn left at the Elapully junction onto the Palakkad-Pollachi Highway. Alternatively, you can take the Salem-Ernakulam Highway from Cochin to Palakkad town and turn right onto the Palakkad-Pollachi Highway. If you're coming by train, the nearest train station is Palakkad City. If you are coming by air, the nearest airports are Coimbatore (50 km away) and Ernakulum (180 km away).
