It consists of a full kitchen, main bedroom en suite and open plan living and dining room. It has its own patio, is business ready with easy access to beaches, mountains, CBD and airport. We service the cottage on longer stays free of charge, and have a friendly country environment. The cottage is fully equipped with its own wifi and DSTV. The space This beautifully appointed & comfortable cottage has its own private entrance & en suite bedroom in an exclusive location in Upper Constantia. It is part of a stylish architecturally designed home overlooking the mountains on a quiet & picturesque tree- lined street. It is a 15-minute drive to the beach & a 1-minute drive to neighbouring wine estates. Wonderful cafes & shops are close by. Have a great experience living as a local. The space The suite has been styled to maximise comfort with a queen- size bed, feather filled pillows & quality linen. The en suite has a modern basin & tap fittings, lovely soaps & a great shower. It is tastefully furnished with armchairs to watch the TV. A mini fridge has chilled mineral water, and there is a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a table for working on & a desk fan for keeping the room cool in Summer. It is on ground level & peeks out to the mountain on one side & has a view of the tree-lined garden on the other. It is a wonderful relaxing space to stay. There are full cooking facilities with well -stocked accessories, oil and basics. There is also a microwave. There are plenty of nearby places to eat out at too. Other things to note If there are no other bookings on the day of checkout you are welcome to request a later checkout if it suits your travel plans better. The Pool and garden area around the cottage shared with the homeowners. Guest access Guests have their own private cottage with its own entrance and outdoor patio that’s set up for lovely 'braais' and eating ‘al fresco’. They may use the rest of the garden and pool on request. Other things to note Great location for business and tourism. Central to Southern suburbs business hub and easy access to Cape Town CBD. The cottage is close to some of the finest wine estates in South Africa, including walking distance to Groot Constantia, Klein Constantia and Buitenverwachting wine estates. It’s also close to a variety of wonderful restaurants including organic and local fare. Very good access to all of Cape Town’s attractions and highways. It is a 20 minute drive to Muizenberg and Llandudno beaches. You can go for hikes and cycling on the local green belts and cycle tracks in and around Constantia, Tokai forest and Silver-mine Lake. Cool breakfast spots like Chardonnay Deli and the Nest, and many other great eateries within 2km’s. We have bikes and surfboards which can be rented. Hop on Hop off bus at Groot Constantia 1km away, but we would recommend Uber or car rentals if you wish to explore the area further.
