Original but stylish blacksmith cabin

The old blacksmith's hut from 1876, located in the Hessian mountain country, offers the ideal retreat after a day full of beautiful and exciting experiences: hiking, mountain biking, trips to the region or simply let your mind wander! The space Our blacksmith hut is originally but stylishly equipped and is beautifully situated on the property of a historic shepherd's farm, right on the edge of the forest. It is part of a more than 250-year-old courtyard complex consisting of the main house, the barn, the stables and the historic blacksmith hut. This was lovingly renovated in 2018 in a historical style and is now available to our guests. The harmonious ambience creates an atmosphere where you feel at home as quickly as possible. Home, but secluded from the stressful everyday life. The historic blacksmith is simply equipped, but with everything you need for a few relaxing days: a 1.60 m bed, two wonderfully comfortable armchairs, a kitchenette with dining area as well as a small bathroom with shower and toilet are at your disposal. A narrow spiral staircase leads from the living room to the cozy attic room, the sleeping area of the Dahler smithy. On cold days, you can end the evenings in front of the crackling fire of the wood stove with a good book and a glass of wine. In the kitchen you will find basic equipment of dishes including toaster as well as a small fridge and a ceramic hob. If you like it even more rustic, a charcoal grill is also available - according to the weather conditions. Bedding is available; towels can be provided on request. TV and internet can't be found - deceleration is the motto!
