Tourist tax 2.80 EUR The space Our house has 4 TOP equipped apartments in different sizes and is centrally located in the village of Hochfilzen. Hochfilzen is easily accessible by car, train or plane (Salzburg, Innsbruck or Munich airports). Everything you need every day (supermarket, bakery, coffee, restaurant, bank, train station, bus stop, cross-country ski trail in winter) can be found in the immediate vicinity and is easy to reach on foot. All our apartments are modern and comfortably furnished and have fully equipped kitchens (stove, mostly oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, etc.) With one exception, the apartments are completely without carpets – therefore also suitable for allergy sufferers. Furthermore, each apartment has a terrace or balcony with plenty of seating. The ideal terrain is available for every winter sports enthusiast in the Skicircus and the largest ski resort in Austria, regardless of whether you are a cool snowboarder, a little piste flea, a tricky freerider or a sporty carver. From gentle slopes to wide carving slopes to the black World Cup descent from top fun parks to untouched variant descents to the mogul slope. Every generation will be satisfied with skiing. The spaciousness and the well-prepared, wide slopes are especially appreciated by our guests from all over the world. Tour suggestion from Hochfilzen (tried it myself) With the ski bus, about 300 m away from the Hochfilzen station, it is about 10.00 to Leogang to the valley station of the Asitzbahnen. Take the gondola to the mountain station and then a short stop at the highest brewery in Europe, the AsitzBräu. Continue with the most modern chairlifts to Saalbach, where you can ride the Sonnenhängen, Schönleiten, Kohlmais, Bernkogel lifts etc. all day long to Fieberbrunn. With the new TIROL S-Bahn, the connection between Hinterglemm and Fieberbrunn, you can then go to beautiful slopes and pistes. After several super-prepared slopes, it goes into the valley to Fieberbrunn. Now relaxation and fun are on the agenda in the Apres ski huts, such as the Enzianhütte and the well-known S4. Around 6:00 pm the last ski bus goes to Hochfilzen and a wonderful day of skiing comes to an end. We walk with the skis from the Katharina guest house about 500 m to the village square and take the ski bus to Fieberbrunn to the ski resort. With the Doischbergbahn we go up, continue with the lifts, Lärchfilzen, Rechmoos and the new TIROL S train to the Reiterkogel and we are in the middle of the Hinterglemm ski resort. Then we continue with the chairlifts Hassenauer, Hochalm and Spieleck. Our ski tour then continues into the valley. Entry into the Zwölferkogel-Nordbahn and up to the summit. We drive down the former World Cup route into the valley. Then the tour continues with the Schattberg Westgipfelbahn at an altitude of 2,088 m. From there, we descend on firm snow into the valley, cross the village of Hinterglemm and take a short break. Then we take the Reiterkogelbahn and the Sunliner back to the southern slopes of Hinterglemm. Once at the top, we will drive back to the valley to Fieberbrunn as already known. To finish off, there is a refreshing beer and a Tyrolean schnapps and music to relax! It is only about 6 km by car to Fieberbrunn or Leogang from our guest house Katharina in Hochfilzen.
