My House is close to Fabulous Beaches, Countryside, Carvalhal village. You will love this place because it is Unique, Private, Secluded, Great Atmosphere. During the Spring and Summer you are close by to amazing breathtaking beaches, and during the Autumn or Winter, the mild weather allows you to explore the region, horseback ride and enjoy local produce and wines. The space The Barn A CONTEMPORARY BARN FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY Beautifully integrated into the surroundings, and a 5-minute drive from the beaches of Carvalhal and Pego, the Barn is a contemporary dwelling in the middle of the pine forest. Ideal for couples with children or for groups of friends, this spacious open-space house (the kitchen and lounge areas are connected) has two bedrooms plus a mezzanine that serves as an extra bedroom. The architecture seamlessly blends into the surroundings, with its beautiful wooden structure, large windows that open up to the woods and the authentic Comporta thatch roof. A wide terrace that runs the length of the house is the perfect invitation to go outside and enjoy the moment in tune with nature. The atmosphere is so peaceful and laidback that you might simply want to gaze at the stars, but there’s also an amazing Masai open-air fireplace for chillier nights. An organic vegetable garden, using a permaculture approach, creates an “edible landscape” around the house for you to enjoy. So, if you feel like it, you can roll your sleeves up and enjoy an authentic hands-on experience at our organic garden before preparing your farm to table meal with tasty produce of the season.
