Spindrift Suite

The Spindrift Suite is an oceanview suite on the 2nd floor of the historic Main House Inn--- with one of the best bedside viewpoints onsite! This suite has a king bed, a sitting area, private bath w/ walk in shower, and its own private balcony. It is decorated with plenty of antiques and fine paintings! Not pet friendly, No A/C in any units. Fans provided. The space Offering some of the best ocean side views of Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island! Located in Southwest Harbor, 20 minutes from Bar Harbor-- and minutes away from many park trails and even a lighthouse! The Moorings Inn is a pet friendly historic ocean side inn with our own private beach and boat rental service on site. We pride ourselves in the uniqueness, history, and character of our property, and how it forces you to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! Guest access All guests have access to our Main inn's lobby and den, our private beach with grills/lawn furniture/fire pits. We do have wifi, with the signal strength being strongest in the living room (buildings made in 1765 aren't the most wifi friendly!). Other things to note This room is located in the Main Inn, which was built in 1765. This means the building is old. This room's sitting area and bathroom is seperated from the bedroom by a door. This room's bathroom has a large plush curtain instead of a door. Our rooms within the Main Inn do not have a TV in the room unless stated in the room description as we like to have our rooms focus on the beauty of our one of a kind view. We do have wifi, with signal strength being strongest in the living room (buildings made in 1765 aren't wifi friendly!). As with all Inns, be mindful of noise level especially if you are on the 2nd floor! If you are checking late, the front door is ALWAYS unlocked since we have a live-in nightwatchman. Do not knock, just walk in! All rooms have locks and keys. All rooms are heated, and have a thermostat on the wall! ****Not a pet friendly room****
