Private double room with amazing views

Assisi is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on a no through road on the outskirts of a small village of Staunton in the Forest of Dean. Set in it's tranquil, elevated position with it's closest proximity to the Buckstone, Assisi gives wonderful views across the Wye Valley amidst hectares of Staunton meend and amongst ancient woodland. Staunton is renowned for it's spectacular walks, horse riding and biking straight from the doorstep and the river wye nearby for paddling. The space Cheryl warmly welcomes you to Assisi which provides a private double room with king-size bed and superb views and a newly furbished (shared by 1) bathroom and shower. Breakfast is self serve of teas, coffee, cereal and toast in a space in the lounge overlooking a natural garden. We have gorgeous sunrises over the fields surrounding us with the most euphonious bird chorus. You'll also be a 5 minute walk from the Buckstone with stunning views and sunsets over the Brecon Beacons. We can offer a bike washing and storage facilities. Dogs are allowed with an additional charge of £15 a night. We also offer board for horses, with an additional charge of £25 a night. Either grazing and a barn shelter or stable for the night. Staunton is a brilliant riding area with paths down to the river. We have a pasada school you can use at your leisure. Horses must up to date with vaccinations. We have 3 horses which will graze in a separate field. Guest access There is plenty of parking. You'll have a key to the front door which connects to the entrance/piano room (welcome to play if you like!), lounge (shared space) and the private double room upstairs. The bathroom and shower room are also located upstairs. (These are shared). The bedroom is equipped with a kettle and a selection of teas and coffee. There is free WiFi. A self served breakfast will be supplied in the lounge, offering cold drinks, cereals and toast. The lounge has a hdmi hook up if you wish to bring a laptop and watch films, and a DVD player with a small selection of films. We have a beautiful meadow-like garden and outdoor dining table, with a BBQ available upon request. There is a lovely local pub called the White Horse which serves delicious food and is only a 10 minute walk away There are also other local towns with more food options, which you could walk, bike, drive or get a taxi to. During your stay Feel free to text/call/email or ask any questions if you see us around during your stay or upon your arrival. We can offer recommendations on places to go, eat etc... But we will also supply a booklet of suggestions you can take a look at. Other things to note The house will be shared with 2 others, who spend most free time riding, wild swimming, biking, walking or just in the big outdoors!! We have 3 horses and a cat who you most likely won't see as she's quite shy! Please no smoking/vaping in the home, only in outdoor spaces.
