PLEASE READ THE OTHER NOTES SECTION. Holland, Michigan is a favorite summer destination for those who live near or far. Holland itself has so much to offer with its boutiques, coffee shops, and restaurants and of course beautiful beaches on Lake Michigan. We are less than 8 miles from Holland State Park and so close to other Lake Shore attractions. Saugatuck is only 11 miles away, Grand Haven a 23 mile drive, and 29 miles from Grand Rapids, making this a very desirable location! The space We remodeled our 1940 home with you in mind. Our hope is that this home says, "Come, relax and stay awhile!" The main floor has a Bedroom with a double bed, a full Bathroom with a new tub and shower, and a Den/TV room. Plenty of windows and natural light makes the main Living Area open and airy. The Kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances and is well supplied. The Dining Room table comfortably seats six and is adjacent to the Living Room. There is another TV with Roku in the Living Room, and a DVD player. Shiplap, slanted ceilings and cozy nooks definitely give a cottage vibe to the upstairs, but with all the comforts of home! The Master Bedroom has a king size bed, the second Bedroom has a double bed and also a new bamboo floor mattress. All are comfortable! "His" and "Her's" vanities and a shower for two, make the upstairs bathroom delightful! Guest access You have access to the entire upstairs, main floor, and an unfinished laundry room in the basement. We have a large yard for you to enjoy with a gas grill, picnic table and tire swing. Behind us is a Family Park with a play ground, volley ball net and basket ball hoops. Close enough to be very convenient, but the yard is deep and still very private! Other things to note *****PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOW IN EFFECT FOR THE 2025 SEASON! Because I have reached the allotted number of nights allowed for short term rentals (required by our city ordinance), with out the homeowner sleeping on the premises, I am now required to sleep in my bedroom in the basement. We have successfully done this in the past. I enter through the back porch, and go directly to my room in the basement at approximately 11PM and leave by 8AM. I do not enter your living quarters at all! In fact, my goal is that you never realize I am there!
