Altenahr / Mountain, farmhouse in the hiking area, 18th century

We offer our guests a charming half-timbered house with a cozy living area, open kitchen and bathroom on the first floor as well as two bedrooms and TV corner on the upper floor. The inviting courtyard can also be used. The village of Krälingen belongs to the wine region of the Ahr Valley and is located in an idyllic hiking area. The space The historic farmhouse is cozy and rustically furnished. In summer, the courtyard and the natural landscape attract, in autumn the wine festivals in the valley and in winter the walks through the snowy idyll with subsequent warming up in front of the wood-burning stove. Beds are available for 4 people (+ sofa bed or folding bed for another 1-2 people). The house was built around 1730 and is a protected monument. It still has its original small and steep stairs to the upper floor (to the bedrooms) and is therefore not suitable for guests who shy away from steep stairs. Guest access The house is accessible via the round stone staircase in the courtyard (see photo). It is available to guests only. The furnished courtyard is shared by the guests of the house and those of the Alte Krähe cultural café. The cultural café is currently open Friday to Sunday and on public holidays. The parking lot "Alte Krähe" is located about 200 m above the courtyard and is signposted on both sides of the street. For unloading, you can park briefly directly at the courtyard entrance. Other things to note There is HD TV, free WiFi (fiber optic). Pets are very welcome (one-time flat rate of €10). We already have a large Swiss shepherd dog, two cats and some chickens. Since the adjacent restaurant "Alte Krähe" is open from Friday to Sunday, the music can sometimes be "heard" even longer in the evening hours. We always inform our guests about planned concerts (usually every Friday from May to September) during the stay.
