Duplex for Families with Ocean View, Terraces

The duplex flat is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a three-storey building. The view from the south-west-facing balconies is nice: the vaste sea just ahead, all the way to Cabo da Roca and the Serra de Sintra. The building is located in a development outside the town of Ericeira. It's a 3-min drive from the town centre and a 10-min walk from the beaches. In the centre of the neighbourhood, there is a café/pastry shop/restaurant, which delights those who live there or spend a few days there. The space The spacious duplex apartment is located in a residencial area, in 15 year-old three-floor building and is in the last two floors (second and third). The LOWER FLOOR level consists of spacious living room with a terrace with the ocean view for a million :), 2 bedrooms (master bedroom with connection to terace with the view to the ocean), bathroom, kitchen and its balcony with a laundry area, and with a view to the fields. The bathroom is equipped with bidet, and a hairdryer, also several devices for women to make the hairs curly, wavy or straight . :) The kitchen is equipped with the following appliances: fridge, oven, toster, coffee machine, multifunctional microwave, kettle, fondoo, mixer, smoothy maker, juice machine and the necessary eating and seating facilities. Also there is a small division to store the food, drinks, etc. The UPPER FLOOR consists of a suite bedroom in a loft with shower, separate kitchenette and spacious balcony. The modern style bedroom is equipped with 1 double-size bed and 1 couch. The bathroom is equipped with a large shower basin and a hairdryer. The kitchenette is equipped with the following appliances: small fridge, coffee machine, multifunctional microwave, kettle and the necessary eating and seating facilities. In two of the balconies there are tables and chairs allowing the guests to enjoy the magnificent view and the soothing sun during their breakfast. The entire facilities are covered by wireless internet. Guests can expect a very pleasant and memorable stay in a well-located apartment vis-a-vis the ocean. The small fisherman's village (approx. 40 min. drive by car from Lisbon) is one of the few world's surf reserves and was recently chosen as one of the 10 coolest small towns in Europe. If you appreciate the 4 S (sun, sea, sand and surf) Ericeira is THE right place for you. But there is more: seafood, nice people, entertainment and the unmistakably unique frame of houses and rocky cliffs. Nearby: The apartment is located very close (approx. 400 m walking distance) to the "Praia de Ribeira d'Ilhas", one of the world's most famous beaches for surfing. In front of the apartment there is a cafeteria/restaurant where you can try their delicious freshly baked bread, cakes and drink an energising Portuguese "galão" (milk with espresso coffee). If you are not fond of cooking, you can also have your lunch there. We can also cater for other services, like transportation to and from Lisbon, surfing lessons, or anything else you might want. Other things to note *** NOTE: There are ongoing construction works in the neighborhood, next to the building. They will last for several months still. But, during the summer time months of July and August they are supposed either to be halted or significantly reduced. *** Two Legal Obligations: 1) Report the data of foreign guests to the Portuguese Foreigners' Authority (SEF) Guests will provide via airbnb or other form the data requested, at the latest, upon arrival. Host must fill in a form and submit it online to SEF within 3 working days. 2) Legal Accommodation Tax. High Season (between MAY 1 - OCT 31) 2.40 EUR day/pax. Low Season (between NOV 1 - APR 30) 1.20 EUR day/pax. Maximum 7 days are charged.
