Blair Cottage
Description
The special charm of the Blair Cottage in its quiet, natural setting within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park is the perfect place to unwind. The interior of this traditional cottage with its modern amenities provides a welcome return after the day walking the nearby paths, climbing Ben Lomond or a day spent in to on the shores of Loch Lomond. The space Unrivalled Space & Comfort on One Level Prepare to be surprised by the sheer scale of Blair Cottage. With three distinct living areas, everyone can find their perfect spot to unwind. 1. The Social Hub (Open Plan Living) The kitchen and dining area extend into a spectacular glass-walled living space. This is where you’ll gather for meals, warmed by the Log Burner, with panoramic views of the garden. 2. The Conservatory (Sun Room) A dedicated, light-filled sanctuary separate from the main living areas. It’s the ultimate spot for morning coffee, reading a book in peace, or watching the red squirrels and deer, no matter the weather. 3. The Snug (TV Lounge) A separate, cosy sitting room with plush sofas and a TV. Perfect for movie nights or when the kids want their own space while adults enjoy a glass of wine by the fire next door. 😴 Sleeping & Bathing (2 Baths!) Master Suite: King-size bed with a private En-suite shower room. Twin Room: Two comfortable single beds. Family Bathroom: Large bathroom featuring a bathtub – essential for a relaxing soak after hiking Ben Lomond. 🥾 Practicalities A separate utility room creates a perfect "boot room" for muddy gear and laundry. Guest access 🏡 All Yours to Enjoy You will have exclusive use of the entire cottage, the private garden, and the patio. No part of the living space or grounds is shared. 🚗 Parking & Storage Ample free private parking is available directly on the premises. Guests have full access to the utility room – perfect for storing hiking boots, bikes, or drying wet gear after a day on the Loch. Other things to note 🛒 Grocery Shopping (Important!) We are wonderfully remote! The nearest substantial supermarket is about 10 miles away. We highly recommend doing a full food & drink shop before you arrive so you can settle in immediately without needing to drive back out. 📱 Connectivity WiFi: We have reliable internet suitable for streaming and video calls. Mobile Signal: Due to the mountains, mobile reception can be patchy. We recommend enabling "WiFi Calling" on your phone before arrival. 🌲 Life in the National Park Nature: Being in the forest means you might encounter local wildlife. In summer months, we recommend bringing insect repellent (for the famous Scottish midges!). Weather: Bring your wellies or hiking boots! The trails can be muddy, but the utility room is ready to dry them out. 🐾 Pet Owners We love dogs! Please just be mindful that there are sheep and wildlife in the surrounding fields, so please keep dogs under control when exploring outside the garden.
