The space Our home is surrounded by a magical scenery with pastures, rocks and the ocean. The house, recently rebuilt, still preserves its wood oven, as well as its wooden ceilings. It’s a very cozy home, perfect for 2, with a lovely private garden, where you can have your meals or just rest. It's situated on the north cost, and it’s close to the main road accesses as well as some major spots to visit. From here, you are: - 2 kms distance from the Santa Bárbara Beach, the surfers spot. - 7 kms from Caldeira Velha, where you can have a thermal baths surrounded by an exotic intrincate vegetation. Its an unique place! - 10 kms from Lagoa do Fogo , one of the 7 wonders of Portugal! - 6 kms from golf course - Campo da Batalha. Our typical azorean food is quite near too: - the very famous azorean beefsteak cooked on the Associação Agrícola de S. Miguel (S. Micael Agricultural Association), just from 500 meters. - Rabo de Peixe fishing vilage, where there are plenty of fresh fish and seafood to offer on its restaurants. We suggest stopping on the Goreana tea factory, where they still use the same techniques from de XIX century to produce the only European tea or the delicious milk and fruit ice creams. You must visit too the licour factory "Mulher de Capote", on Ribeira Grande, to try its passion-fruit licour. We happily will give you plenty of others tips to give you about our island!
