La Capanna delle Cozzole is located close to Castellina in Chianti, only a 30 minute drive from Siena, Florence and San Gimignano. It is set perfectly in the lush countryside between ancient woods, olive trees and enchanting hills. The space The house is a charming converted two floor Tuscan barn that preserves the flavours of the past with its white walls, stone floors and beamed ceilings, whilst providing all modern comforts. It has two entrances: the main entrance into the fully equipped kitchen and living room with its romantic fireplace, and a second entrance at ground floor into the two bedrooms. The double bedroom has a private bathroom (shower, basin, WC), and the second bedroom has two single beds and a second bathroom (shower, basin, WC). For those with children, we can also provide an additional bed and high chair. Outside the ancient barnyard has been transformed into a large terrace where you can relax with a barbeque and a glass of Chianti while enjoying the breathtaking landscape that completely surrounds you. La Capanna delle Cozzole is the perfect place for those looking for a peaceful break. Almost entirely secluded, the house is reach by a private, unmade road, which is accessible only to those that reside in the area making it perfect for those that want to ‘get away from it all’. In addition to the stunning scenery, fabulous villages and towns to explore steeped in history, and wonderful restaurants, there are also activities including trekking and mountain biking, and because the owners are keen sailors, they can also arrange a customised sea boat trip in the Golfo dei Poeti.
