The space The modern, super comfortable apartment with breathtaking views is part of the beautiful, very well maintained residential block of flat called “Mallorca”, arguably the most beautiful complex in Umdloti as less crowded and more upmarket, and right opposite a pristine, quiet stretch of the beach. The complex is also perfect during Covid times as no elevator required and no need to touch any other common areas such as door handles etc, as the flat has its entirely separate access & entrance door. The flat runs over two levels, with two spacious balconies giving you the most breathtaking view over the Indian Ocean. The flat is in the much more upmarket, residential South side of Umdloti, is stylishly decorated with beautiful finishes. Flat is in walking distance (~10min) from Shops and restaurants - and it’s completely safe to walk at night as well. No car needed as the local Spar supermarket also does deliveries. There is a beautiful, large and lush garden including an amazing pool and braai areas which is free to use by the guests. One just walks through the garden, through a little gate and you are right at the beach! The apartment comprises of a fully equipped kitchen, an open-space lounge plus two bedrooms; the main bedroom features a Queen size bed and an en-suite bathroom (incl shower, toilet and sink). The second bedroom has a double bed and two single beds (bunk bed). Additionally there is another bathroom incl a shower, toilet and sink. Kitchen fully equipped with fridge/freezer, stove, oven, coffee machines, microwave etc. Aircon in Lounge as well as bedroom; and ceiling fans in both bedrooms and lounge. Free uncapped Fibre WiFi as well as a smart TV available for guests to stream their preferred, personal subscriptions such as Netflix and DSTV Now etc. 24-security on property. Owners are South African & German. Also have basic French knowledge. Cleaning service can easily be arranged. Unit suitable for 4 adults and 2 kids. Das erste Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett hat einen wundervolle Balkon mit 360 Blick übers Meer und den Pool, sowohl also auch ein kleines Badezimmer inkl. Dusche. Das zweite Schlafzimmer hat ein Doppelbett und ein Hochbett. Zusätzlich gibt es ein weiteres Badezimmer mit Dusche. Restaurants, cafes und shops kann man zu Fuß erreichen (ca 10 Minuten), und auch abends kann man hier problemlos und sicher nach Hause laufen. Der lokale Spar Supermarkt liefert Lebensmittel auch direkt nach Hause, deswegen muss man auch nicht unbedingt ein Auto haben. “Uber” (Taxi) funktioniert wunderbar, und das neue Zentrum von Durban, Umhlanga, ist in maximal 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Flughafen ist maximal 10 Minuten entfernt, und trotz der Nähe hört und sieht man Flugzeuge nicht. Wenn man Lust auf Entspannung an wunderschönen Stränden hat, und sich nicht in den Menschenmengen in Umhlanga tummeln möchte, ist in Umdloti ganz wunderbar aufgehoben! The complex address is 40 South Beach Road but the main access gate is situated at the back of the complex on Newsel Road. Parties and events are not permitted and the building maintains set quiet hours as listed on our profile. This apartment caters to 4 adults and 2x children in two bedrooms. As shown in our listing photos, the primary bedroom has an open-plan ensuite bathroom. The second full bathroom is located on the upper level, and seperate from the bedrooms. The apartment itself is situated on the complex's first floor. Inside, the upper level is accessible via a staircase with handrails. While we love fur-babies, the Mallorca Complex is unfortunately not pet-friendly unfortunately.
