203 steps from the sand! The Mariner's Cottage is a downstairs efficiency with kitchen. There is a pantry, storage closet, bath and washer/dryer unit. Pets considered at owner's discretion. Carolina Beach is located on Pleasure Island and is the perfect place for your relaxing vacation. If relaxing on the sand is not your thing, Carolina Beach has lots of activities for adults and children. Traveling with friends? See if the upstairs unit is available! The space The Mariner's Cottage is in a residential area with lots of year round residents. Short walk to the beach with friendly neighbors. Easy access to the Greenway trail too. Great neighborhood for walks and biking and skateboarding! It is a relaxing spot for sure! Beautiful spot on the porch for coffee in the quiet mornings. The evenings have beautiful cotton candy skies! When you are outside be sure to listen for the waves! You just might be able to hear them! Be sure to message us and ask about our early check in and check out! Guest access Guests have access to a separate entrance from downstairs unit, their own full kitchen, private bedroom and bath. Guests are welcome to use the porch and lawn. Parking on the premises. Maximum 2 cars. (Please let us know if there will be more than one.) Other things to note Carolina Beach is close to many outdoor activities. The Carolina Beach State park is close by with great trails. The entire area is wonderful for being on bikes. The beaches are beautiful and the locals are super friendly. There are great restaurants with kid menus and also more adult venues. Lots of live music in many restaurants/bars. During the summer season, there is a carnival with rides and games of chance for the kids. Each Thursday night there are fireworks on the boardwalk and Sunday nights there are outdoor movies by the lake. * We have stayed so booked that we been unable to install new flooring and paint. It will be done in down time. Please know that the floor is not dirty! It is just time for our vintage look to be updated.
