Located in the historic Karangahake Gorge, the home offers a vast array of experiences accessible from it’s superb location. The 2 acre tree lined property borders the Hauraki Cycle-way and Ohinemuri River. John is a sculptor and Julie is a florist and they work from their studios on the property. This property is NOT available for parties. John and Julie live onsite in an adjoining studio. The space Offering 4 rooms; 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds, one room with a queen bed and one room with king bed (or can be two singles) A perfect environment to wind down and rest on the sunny side of the river. A wooden spiral staircase leads guests to 3 bedrooms, and private bathroom space. Downstairs is the lager room with king bed and bathroom next door. The interiors are tastefully decorated and arranged. Inside a warm palette ties the interior together. A mixture of modern furniture and retro furnishings fill the two main living spaces. Ornaments, ephemera and sculptures are specifically curated to give the space a sense of homely warmth. The main living area opens up to a large outdoor dining space, a deck and spa which both have great views across the property and the lush gardens. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house, garden, spa area. Owners are onsite in adjoining studio apartment. Other things to note Please note.
