Our accommodation is built on family land that stretches from the quiet Air Kuning village to the volcanic black sands of the Indian Ocean. You can experience our way of life whilst feeling like part of the family here. It's perfect for relaxing and exploring the natural beauty of West Bali. The space For the duration of your stay you will truly feel like a member of our family. The property has many inhabitants including the extended family, visiting friends and our animals. You can relax and explore the grounds with lush gardens created from plants collected from the jungle and fall asleep to the sounds of the nature and the rolling ocean waves. The translation of Segara Urip is meaning Ocean Life… so relax and enjoy the unique experience away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist crowds. Our space is entirely unique. From the local characters you will find here, the welcoming nature of our family, the volcanic sand beach and the surrounding landscapes. This is real Bali. ROOM DESCRIPTION Our rooms, each a little unique, are built from locally sourced timber and made in a chic bungalow style with high ceilings and front porch. Amenities are basic, cozy and comfortable. The bed frames are solid Balinese timber with very comfortable new mattresses for a good sleep. All rooms have new en-suite outdoor stone bathrooms, with a modern and traditional Balinese feel. Guest access You are welcome anywhere on the property including our family area. We have a bar next to your bungalow accommodation with a small fridge, filtered drinking water, hot water, tea and Balinese coffee available anytime of day. There are many different places for the guests to dine and relax. You can access the beautiful Indian Ocean 30m from your bungalow, and the local markets are only a short walk away!
