Walserhaus " Althus" in Gün, Safiental GR

Our holiday home "Althus" is located in the Safiental in the hamlet of Gün and is a typical Walsehaus at 1600 m above sea level. It was built in 1701 and rebuilt in 1995 with the monument protection gently, practically and simply. Here you can relax wonderfully in the middle of nature. In spring, summer and autumn, hikes throughout the Safiental, visit to our farm, watching wild animals, colors of the wild meadows... In winter, it is great for ski tours, snowshoe hikes, or just enjoying. The space Our cottage sleeps 12 guests with 5 bedrooms. 1 large kitchen is available to guests with dishes and pots for cooking. With 4 glass ceramic plates, oven, dishwasher and large refrigerator. In the "Spensa" (storage room) behind the kitchen, products of our farm can be purchased depending on the season. A small kitchen-living room (single room), on the 1st floor offers a TV with which you can watch DVDs. (About 100 different ones are available). No TV reception) The living room is also for guests, with lots of games, books, comics and audiobooks. On the ground floor there is a bathroom with washing machine, which can also be used. On the 2nd floor there is another bathroom with a bathtub. There is an electric oven in each room. The living room has a soapstone stove that can be heated. The kitchen can also be heated with wood (only in winter), and also has partial underfloor heating. Bed linens, kitchen towels and bath towels are included. Guest access The whole house is there for the guests. Parking (for several cars) is near the house. In summer there is a patio. Toys, books, etc. may all be used. The price includes final cleaning and tourist tax. There are no extra charges for the house. Other things to note Gün is a hamlet that extends over about 6 km to the Alps. With us you are in the right place for lots of nature, animals, peace and relaxation.
