Il Cerreto is an 18th century refurnished farmhouse located on a hillside overlooking a stunning valley surrounded by olive trees and forests. It consists of two separate floors, featuring the original architectural style of the Tuscan countryside. The space Il Cerreto consists of two charming and cozy apartments, rented as one single property, both equipped with full kitchen (including dishwasher and Microwave), comfortable living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, a swimming pool and a fantastic garden. The first floor apartment "Winter" has two bedrooms, one bathroom and a shower room. The living room features a romantic fireplace for your fall-winter’s relaxation and is equipped with TV, DVD and CD player. The outside typical loggia, located at the entrance, is the perfect place for your breakfasts and aperitif times, overlooking the garden, olive trees and forest. The groundfloor apartment "Summer" has two double bedrooms (queen size beds), one single room (with one single bed), two bathrooms and a spacious and functional living room with kitchenette. The arch shaped window over the kitchenette fills the whole room with a special light and offers an astonishing view of the backyard garden, surrounding hills and castle. Both apartment are equipped with a sofa bed for extra guest. The house has as well a separate "studio", once used for art work and painting by uncle Tony and and a table soccer room setted up in the old furnace space. We have a nice and indeed special swimming pool built up on a terrace overlooking the surrounding forest and lawn area for your relaxation. The garden features a comfortable field with sun beds, two lovely shady pergolas (wooden structure with grape trees) with dining tables, chairs and a barbecue. There are several trails leaving directly from il Cerreto (direction Gargonza) for your walking pleasure, straight into nature! In the house you’ll also find a lot of books and dvd's (both in italian and english), a painting kit, chess, cards and other table games! Lidia, our lovely neighbour, will be taking care of your check-in and check-out and will be available, if necessary, to help you She and her two adult sons work away from home all days durning the year. The family has the right of way tò pass by the garden. Please note she has dogs which are fenced in and cats who wonder free, in the past years many guests have fed them so they seem to feel free to come to the house. we ask you not to feed the cats! We do not encourage them but cats are cats! Guest access The swimming pool is for the exclusive use of guests (size m. 4x9 , depth m. 1.40, open from the end of May to 15 september) and is completely fenced. The wood floor and a little green area are equipped with sun beds and umbrellas ... all surrounded by olive trees and a breathtaking view! Other things to note Free internet Wi-Fi included. There is also a smart TV in the upstair apartment. Laundry Service: A Washing Machine is available. You can dry in the sun on the wires placed between the pillars of the vine trees. There also are laundries in Monte San Savino that provide two to three day wash and dry service. There is heating if necessary at an extra cost for 25 euro per day. which can be payed to mrs. Lidia.
