Cosy yet contemporary, this architect designed, free standing townhouse in historical South Hobart is filled with sun, art and views of kunanyi (Mt Wellington). Although surrounded by popular cafes and shops, The Loft is quiet and private. Situated near the stunning Hobart Rivulet, it's an easy 15-20 min walk or 10 min ride to the CBD. Or cycle/walk the other way to the Cascade Brewery. The space Recently built on what used to be horse stables, The Loft is now a stylish, uniquely architectural townhouse that guests get to enjoy all to themselves. The house is quiet and private with all day sun, and features an under cover carport with contactless entry directly into the house, a large bedroom featuring quality French linen and private courtyard, a fully equipped kitchen, comfy sofa bed, art filled walls, fast wi-fi, sunny deck and private courtyard with barbeque/fireplace, double glazed windows, heated towel rail and heating in the bathroom, reverse cycle air-conditioner upstairs, panel heater and electric blankets in the bedroom, portacot and a laundry with washer/dryer. The stackable doors extend the living area, bring the sun and the outdoors in in the mornings, and open the house up for entertaining in the evenings. Other things to note **Located in nipaluna/Hobart on the land of the Nuenonne People, we acknowledge the Tasmanian People of the Traditional Owners and ongoing custodians of lutruwita/Tasmania. We pay our respects to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and to their Elders past, present and emerging. **We invite guests from all walks of life. **Food: when you arrive you should find some helpful supplies in the kitchen. Items include things like local granola, milk, oil, sauces, tea and coffee, sugar, vegemite, peanut butter, jam, salt and pepper and more! Feel free to use whatever you find. Delicious bread, eggs, smallgoods, pre-cooked meals, gourmet supplies and supermarket staples can be found at The Salad Bowl, diagonally across the road. **The Loft follows Airbnb's Enhanced Cleaning Process. **Unfortunately, The Loft at SoHo is not wheelchair accessible on the upper level, only the lower level. **Suitcases can be rolled directly into the bedroom from the front door (no hauling up stairs). **Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. **Please be respectful of our neighbours by keeping noise levels within reason. **We offer a free of charge light clean for stays of two weeks or more (not available if a guest is self-isolating). This includes changing the bed linen and towels, a quick refresher of the bathroom and kitchen, etc). **We have installed a security camera, which covers the front door area and driveway only. **We have a number of sustainable practices in place at The Loft, and are working towards becoming even more eco-friendly. Some of these practices are: - We shop locally for the milk, chocolates and other supplies that we give our guests. - The house is oriented to make the most of the sunlight, and features double glazed windows and ample insulation. - We use eco-friendly, refillable products for our guests as well as green cleaning products and environmentally friendly “Who Gives A Crap” toilet paper. - We leave reusable bags for shopping, biodegradable rubbish bags, and encourage guests to recycle. - We provide bicycles for optional sustainable transportation. - We use sustainable linen sheets, and use solar power to clean/dry the dirty linen. We encourage use of the eco setting on the property’s washing machine, and provide the option of using a clothes horse for drying. Registration details PLN-19-696
