Feel-good house in a cozy country house style - only 3 minutes from the sandy beach! The house is located approx. 8 minutes by car from the harbor and is also pleasantly accessible on foot in 20 minutes. Our feel-good house is ideally located to explore the island of Thassos or to take a day trip by ferry to the mainland (Kavala). The space With a lot of love for detail, renovated and furnished detached house with country and island-typical details and a spacious garden, as well as a parking space on the property (with lockable gate). Property/garden: The house is centrally located on the green garden, which houses fruit trees, palm trees and vegetables. Behind the house is a fig tree, which bears plenty of fruit at harvest time (also for our guests ;-). The vegetable garden is lovingly maintained once a week by the owners. In the courtyard there is a small fountain where the feet can be washed off from the sandy beach. Behind the house you can shower in the open air, in addition to the shower in the bathroom. The water is heated there in an environmentally friendly way by the solar panels. Terrace: In front of the main entrance of the house is the main dining area on the terrace. A beautiful wooden table and traditional wooden chairs offer plenty of space for all guests. On the terrace area leading to the second bedroom, there is still a small coffee table for afternoon chatting. House: The house has two bedrooms, between which there is a spacious kitchen, dining and living area. The kitchen has a stove with oven, an extractor hood, a fridge with freezer compartments. Coffee maker, kettle; other small electrical appliances are of course available to our guests. Plates, glasses, cutlery and bowls are available in sufficient numbers, as are kitchen and hand towels. The house is bright and friendly overall. The newly installed window front in the kitchen opens the house optically and lets a lot of light into the main room. The sound of the sea is part of the daily soundscape. The interior is tastefully decorated in Rhode Island style. Sleeping areas: One double bedroom (1.40 x 2.0 m) is oriented towards the back. The second bedroom is slightly set back into the garden and is more of a family room, as it has a built-in double bed (1.40 x 2.0 m) in one niche and a bunk bed for children (each 0.8 x 2.0 m) in the other niche. It also features a lockable exterior door. In the living area, the sofa can also be pulled out for two more people (approx. 1.5 x 2.0 m). A small bathroom with shower, toilet, sink and washing machine complete the interior. Beach : Families with children are very welcome and will feel comfortable here. The beach is a 3-minute walk away. Due to the direct proximity, guests do not have to laboriously take food and drinks for the beach time and families with small children will appreciate the short distance. On the beach itself, you can rent umbrellas if needed; a small snack bar also offers the essentials for a stay by the sea if desired (ice cream, iced coffee, sandwiches, soft drinks). A larger beach bar can be reached in 10 minutes on foot or 2 minutes by car. Food & Drink: A 5-minute walk away is a supermarket that offers everyday necessities in the residential area. A larger supermarket is located directly at the harbor of the village (15-minute walk) and a wholesale market is located on the main road of Thassos about 10 minutes by car. A restaurant with really good food is also a 5-minute walk from the house and convinces with delicious fish and meat dishes. Guest access The house is entirely at the guests' disposal.
