Charming stone cottage with private garden in a stunning rural location, with a truly breathtaking panoramic view of the Gredos Mountains...The perfect hideaway by those who relish to be surrounded by nature! The space Remote and very private our propery is a lovely stone cottage, a sweet simple hideaway for two set in wonderful nature, with lovely circular walks from the doorstep, amazing birdlife and flowers in Spring. The house is totally detached and surrounded by garden with a big shady grapevine covered patio at the front from which to enjoy the amazing view of the Gredos mountains as it changes throughout the day. At the back of the house two huge old fig trees are the perfect spot for enjoying the afternoon winter sun. The cosy rustic interior has an open plan living/sleeping area with a comfy bed, a super efficient wood burner, lots of books, Dvd´s and stacks of information on what to see and do in the area, nature walks, where to find the shops, the best swimming spots and cultural visits. The Kitchen and bathroom are separate, simple and well-equipped. Once you arrive you will be tempted to spend all day just on the patio, with views across the fig orchard to the snow-capped mountains beyond but you can also choose to take a stroll through wonderful oak and chesnut forests, view Incredible Birds at Monfrague Natural Park, swim in the amazing river pools or visit the magnificent city of Trujillo which is just a short drive away. Guest access Guests are most welcome and encouraged to walk all around and explore!! There are many paths for walking around the house. Instructions for the Circular walks around the area, down to the river (1hr)or into the village (2hrs) are provided in the information folder. Other things to note There is a working pottery studio on the farm. We are always happy to show our guests the gallery and studio space and have a cup of tea with us!!
