Calm lagoon at sea II.

Studio apartment is placed in a house just near sea surounded with beautiful untouched nature. It consists from sleeping and living room with kitchen in same space, separated bathroom, and terrace with beautiful see view. There are few beaches in a nearby also as restaurants and small market. It is equipped with all for shorter and longer stay. All island is like a made for nature lovers whether they like relaxing on the porch, talking with villagers, swimming or doing all kind of nature sports. The space The apartment is located first row to the sea, 15 minutes car drive from the ferry port Sobra. Distance from the nearest beach is 30m and parking is located just near house. Okuklje is small village with beautiful wild nature and crystal clear sea. It is often visited by sailors and nature lovers who want to relax and recharge their batteries in natural surroundings. It is also visited by nature sports lovers who likes diving, fishing, bicycling, jumping from cliffs and similar. There are several restaurant with traditional mediterranean food, small market and art shop. On the island lives local fishermens and hunters, growers of goat cheese, olive oil, wine and honey. Island has many coves with natural beaches like Saplunara and Blace. It also has a 2 natural caves. Galičnjak cave is located in the hill above Okuklje and Odysseus cave is located on the sea near village of Babino Polje. The most famous is National Park where are settled Big and Little salt lake. On Big lake is little island of St. Mary, on which was built the Benedictine monastery from the 12th century. Also in National park in port Polače is located a Roman palace from the 4th century. Palace on Mljet is the second best preserved and largest Roman monument on the Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea, immediately after the Diocletian's Palace in Split and the Arena in Pula. Other things to note There is laundry washing machine outside apartments where we can wash your clothes, but due to water restriction on island we can offer it only to guests which stay longer on limited way (please understand this because we have limited yearly supply). I am living in a town called Split on land, so my lovely parents will welcome you and give you all details. We are also renting kayaks with necessary equipment in nextdoor house.
