The flat is on the 4th floor (no elevator; I can help to carry up heavy luggage if you give me a notice). Supermarket across the street. Other shops and restaurants in the vicinity. In the vicinity there is Berlin’s green lung, the Tiergarten, the Spree river and Berlin’s most important sights easily reached by foot – such as the Chancellery, the Bellevue Palace and the Brandenburg Gate and others. Bus stop (line 245) in front of the house – connecting to subway and local, regional and long-distance rail (800 m to the Central Station). From central station (Hauptbahnhof) you can take Bus 245 (direction Zoo), leave at the third station, called "Alt-Moabit / Rathenower Str.", then we are direct opposite (yellow and orange houses). Or take Tram M5/8/10 (direction "Lüneburger Str."), leave at the second (and last) station "Lüneburger Str", ... from there walking distance 270 meters. Or walking the entire route of only 800 meters. From Airport Tegel (TXL) it´s very simple to come here: Take Airport-Epress-Bus "TXL", leave at stop "U Turmstr." (= 4th stop), change to bus 245, leave them at stop "Alt-Moabit / Rathenower Str." (= also 4th stop). Then you are directly in front of our house. From Airport Schoenefeld to us, it's a bit longer, to "central station" (HBF) between 30 - 50 minutes. From central station it´s only 800 meters for walking. From the central bus station (ZOB) there are different ways to get here. The easiest way is to find information on the homepage "" BVG Fahrplanauskunft "" We are not subject to the Berlin "purpose alienation ban law", because we use (inhabiting) considerably more than half of the apartment for ourself. Daily rental service is therefore legal, so we do not require approval. And therefore we have no registration number. Other things to note Accommodation tax: From 2014, a tourist tax of 5 percent of the net price is due for payment for any type of short-term accomodation ('Berlin city tax'). This tax has to be transferred by me to the local tax office. We are officially registered as an "accommodation host".
