Björn-stugan is 50 sqm and is located on a mountain pasture/mountain farm 750 meters above sea level in the middle of Härjedalen at Sonfjället National Park. The hiking trail starts at the cottage junction. The cabin key is in the door upon your arrival, bed linen/towel can be rented, then you can manage yourself with fridge/freezer, stove, oven, microwave and coffee maker in the kitchen. The mountain farm is called Nysäterns Fjällgård and has 3 rental cottages, a café & bakery (for opening hours, see the website nysaternsfjallgard.se), horses, cows, goats, sheep and chickens on the farm. The space Around the mountain farm, Sonfjällsbygden can offer good fishing waters. With binoculars, you may be lucky enough to see "the big 5": bear, lynx, wolverine, golden eagle, possibly wolf. During July-September it is berry season, then you can pick cloudberries, raspberries, blueberries, lingonberries, mushrooms. Several waterfalls, primeval forests and of course hiking in Sonfjället National Park. Buy a guided tour of Sonfjället by a knowledgeable mountain-born Nysätern resident.
