Description
The walkers rest is a self contained 1 bedroom annexe attached to our family home. With it's own private entrance, garden and hot tub. There is direct access to The National Trust Wenlock Edge Forest, with breath taking views, miles of walking trails, bridle paths and cycle routes. Much Wenlock is a 2 min drive or a short walk through the forest to quaint shops and pubs. Shrewsbury, Iron bridge, Ludlow, Buildwas Abbey, Church Stretton, The Wrekin are some of the places within a short drive. The space The walkers rest has undergone a full renovation and consists of the master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite shower room leading to the kitchen/ living area in the converted conservatory. This has direct access to the private garden with decked seating area and Hot tub and a seperate BBQ and eating area. The property can sleep upto 4 people, 1 kingsize bed in the master bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living area. You be sharing the ensuite shower room. The living / kitchen area has large comfy Sofa bed , TV with DVD player and SKY, a breakfast bar, electric Hob and microwave,sink, fridge/freezer, so you can prepare cold or hot snacks/ light meals, or somewhere to enjoy a local takeaway from one of the surrounding villages. Well behaved small /Medium size dogs are welcome. As well as your own private garden, there is a further shared, dog friendly paddock, where you can take in the amazing views over the shropshire hills and the Wrekin. The propery is situated on Harley bank which is a pretty road cut through the hill side. There is private parking on the property grounds with its own little slice of history- 5 old lime kilns from the mining period. There are several pubs and cafes in Much Wenlock which is 30 minute walk (2 miles) through the wood or 2 minute drive (1.5 miles) down one road. Guest access You can walk to the shop for bread / milk and essentials, there is private parking on site and plenty of parking in the town. The pub half a mile away has parking - there is no dedicated footpath to the pub although there is a grass verge but the road can be busy. There are bus services from the town.
