Chamonix Les Praz Studio Apartment

My lovely newly renovated studio is right opposite the Flegere cable car just a 2 minute stroll away. Or alternatively you can jump on the free bus outside the studio giving you access to all of the other Chamonix ski areas and Chamonix town. Being in Les Praz the studio is in a quiet spot away from the crowds and the noise. There are a number of bars and restaurants in the village to sample. However if you want a more lively scene Chamonix town is easily accessible either on foot or by bus. The space The studio is set within an old 1890's farm house in the heart of Les Praz opposite the church. The studio was completely renovated during 2016 in a simple contemporary style. With fully equipped full sized kitchen with 4 ring hob oven, dishwasher and fridge, there is also a Racelette Machine. The bathroom has a large shower cubicle with powerful shower, sink and toilet. The washing machine is also housed in here. There is a pull out sofa bed allowing the space to be used for both living and sleeping .. please note further to some feed back from clients the sofa bed has been upgraded to a new sofa bed (October 2019). New (Dec 2020) a wifi TV has been installed giving access to Netflix and French TV along with various other services. One of the best features of the studio is the large french window offering amazing views of the Mont Blanc. There is access to a shared garden. Guest access The studio is accessed via an entrance vestibule which houses ski and boot storage. There is also access to the garden which is shared by all apartments within the building. Other things to note The apartment is opposite the Flegere cable car station ( literally just a two minute walk) from where you can also pick up a bus to all of the other fantastic ski areas Chamonix has to offer. Les Praz has a number of bars and resturants for you to try. However if you did want to go further afield Chamonix is about a 30 minute walk ( really pretty along the river) or you can just take the bus. The bus is free during the day and early evening and generally runs (unless low season ) every 10/15 minutes. A night a night bus runs until around midnight back from Chamonix approx every 30 minutes there is usually a small charge for this service.
