This heated and air-conditioned accommodation in Le Capitaine combines the authentic charm of river life with modern comfort. Just a 7-minute walk from the metro and trams (then a 6-minute metro ride to the historic heart of Prague) and a 30-minute walk from the Dancing House, enjoy an original stay by the water while easily exploring Prague. Peace and change of scenery guaranteed. The space The Capitaine accommodation has a separate entrance and offers about 60 m² of living space. It features: • A large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a double sofa bed and a single sofa bed. • A separate BD with a double bed. • The original wheelhouse, the barge's former cockpit, converted into a pleasant winter garden bathed in light. • Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. • A large private 50 m² terrace. The accommodation is heated in winter and air-conditioned in summer (except for the wheelhouse) and has free Wi-Fi. From the large terrace equipped for 5 people and with a barbecue, enjoy exceptional views of the Vltava, Vyšehrad Fortress and the rooftops of Prague. Unique in Prague, this unusual accommodation was once the home of the captain and his family. It can accommodate up to 5 people and today combines all modern comforts with the authentic charm and history of a real navigation barge. Guest access The accommodation is independent of the others, only you will have access to this accommodation located at the back of the barge. Other things to note • Prague city taxes included in the price of your reservation. • Self check-in thanks to a secure access system using a personal code. • Thanks to its dimensions (50 m x 8 m) and its mooring in a sheltered harbor, the barge is particularly stable and does not pitch. • Free and secure parking is available right in front of the houseboat, a rare advantage in Prague. • The houseboat sails under the Dutch flag. Although it is fully operational, it will remain moored for the duration of your stay. • For safety reasons, children must remain under the constant supervision of an adult on the outdoor decks. • Located in the Prague-Smíchov harbor, the houseboat enjoys an authentic harbor environment with preserved industrial charm. • Three completely independent accommodations are arranged on board. • Non-smoking accommodation; however, smoking is allowed on the outdoor terrace. • Ecological approach: the barge is connected to the Prague city networks for the supply of drinking water and the disposal of wastewater. • The location by the Vltava is particularly pleasant in summer; there are no mosquitoes!
