Knysna Holiday Cottage

The cottage has electricity 24 hours a day, even during loadshedding. The cottage is modern and cozy and comfortable. It has a private entrance and is fully separate. Set in a green leafy lane, the bird life is abundant and the atmosphere relaxing. Perfect for business travelers and vacation travelers. There is fibre, even during load shedding for uninterrupted work. Secure parking on the property. Hosts are usually on the property to assist if necessary but allow guests total privacy. The space The cottage is set in a cul de sac, filled with bird life, the famous Knysna Loerie often being spotted along with other bird life in this area. Trees are plentiful in this area making the song of birds a beautiful accompaniment. The cottage has homely touches and modern lighting. The bathroom consists of open shower, basin and toilet and is lit up with a beautiful chandelier and LED lights in the shower which makes this everyday activity a lovely experience. There is no built in clothing cupboard but an open rail with shelves for this purpose. There is a KwikSpar and bottle store only a minute’s drive away so you can stock up on what’s needed . 5 minutes drive and you are at the famous Knysna Heads, coffee shops and also the beautiful beaches of Leisure Isle - a beautiful setting for your sundowners. Knysna town and waterfront - a mere 3 km away, offer a variety of shops, activities and restaurants. We have Wi-fi (fibre) during load shedding. A visit to Knysna requires a car as there is very little in the way of public transport. Guests can hire bicycles in town to explore the beautiful lagoon area which offers a bicycle friendly side walk all along the lagoon. Other things to note The kitchenette is adequate for simple meals. There is no stove or oven but an electric frying pan and microwave oven. A coffee maker will make sure you don’t miss out on your early morning cuppa. In addition there is a kettle, toaster, bar fridge but no braai facility. There is no iron or ironing board.
