The Balloon Loft
The Balloon Loft
Description
The Balloon Loft is a self-contained loft annexe with private entrance and use of a garden area with a pleasant view over the village to the hills beyond. The location is peaceful, with heavenly walks, bike trails and stunning scenery upon leaving your own private door. Whilst we have Wi-fi, it can be patchy on rare occasions but 5G signal is strong and a TV/DVD player is provided. The space The Balloon Loft has been decorated to display memorabilia of our many hot air ballooning adventures. It is cozy and comfortable with plenty of natural light. It has a Kitchenette with microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge with ice box. A delicious breakfast is provided (fresh bread, butter, marmalade, milk, orange juice, granola and porridge). Tea, coffee and sugar are also made available to you. In the downstairs shower room you will find soft towels and Cole & Lewis shampoo/body wash and conditioner for your use. A hairdryer can be found in the beside drawer. We like good weather at the Balloon Loft but if you find yourself at a loose end because of a rain shower, there are plenty of DVD's and ballooning memorabilia to keep you entertained. Guest access There is plenty of parking at the Balloon Loft and we are happy to close the gates at night if you so wish. There is a pub in the village (The Sitwell) which serves food, or other excellent pubs also serving food can be found a short drive away in Leintwardine, Clun, Clunton or a little further afield in Ludlow. Alternatively, we are happy for you to bring in a takeaway meal to enjoy at your table within the Loft, or if the weather is as we like, feel free to eat on the outdoor table and chairs on your own lawn. Other things to note Storage of mountain/road bicycles is possible, along with a wash-down area, if required. The bathroom is located downstairs in The loft. There are motion-sensor lights which provide enough light to get you safely down and back up the stairs during the night time if required.
