Casa Garduña in the Highlands of Soria

Two-story rural houses in the highlands of Soria. It was formerly a water mill complex, with the river passing underneath. Now it is renovated with all the amenities (or almost all!) of any house. The maximum capacity is 4 people, with 1 full bathroom. It has a fireplace in the living room area, and a kitchen-dining room. The entire house is made of stone, with heating, a microwave, a mini fridge without a freezer, and a 4-burner induction stove. Firewood on request, the first bucket is free The space It is an idyllic space surrounded by forest, an area famous for mushroom picking. If you really want to disconnect from the city for a few days, this is the place for you. There are hiking trails, authentic villages to visit, dinosaur footprint trails, etc. Guest access The house is totally private. The outdoor area, barbecue and garden are shared with us and the guests of the other house. Other things to note Our houses are located in the middle of the forest, surrounded by nature. There is mobile coverage in a few spots, but we do offer rural internet to keep in touch :) Access is via a rural road (unpaved) of about 2 km. A 4x4 is not necessary, driving slowly is enough, but chains are needed in winter if it snows (we would always let you know about the situation before you arrive, it is usually only 1 or 2 weeks a year). The nearest store is in Villar del Río. It's small but enough for the basics. The nearest large supermarkets are in Soria or Arnedo. It's best to bring the necessary provisions for your stay if you don't want to leave the area much. If you are looking for rest and disconnection, this is definitely your place...
