Watermill with private pool in the Dordogne

A beautiful former watermill that dates back to the 1750's. Large private pool with sun loungers and various places for relaxation and outdoor dining throughout the extensive gardens. Tranquil but not isolated, the house is situated 1km from the village with a shop for essentials and cafe/bar. The bastide town of Lalinde is 5km away with its market square, cafes and restaurants. Bergerac airport is 25 mins, Bordeaux is 1.5 hours. The space The house has a fully fitted kitchen with all essentials for indoor and outdoor dining. The three bedrooms have high quality bed linen, clothes hangers and a hairdryer. There is a shower room with separate WC, hand, bath and pool towels are provided. There is a glass panel in the entrance hall floor to view the mill race dating back to the 1500’s. We have a small library for loans and book swaps, TV with Netflix, DVD player and free WiFi. For chilly evenings there is a large log burner that heats the whole house. Complimentary coffee is provided for all guests, with a welcome gift on your arrival. Guest access The property has a private drive and parking for three cars. There is 3.5 acres of private gardens and woods to explore on your stay. The private pool is unheated and available from May to September.
