Collina is an ancient stone farmhouse, the house is surrounded by fields and olive groves. It has a large garden with swimming pool and a terrace where you can have pleasant lunches and dinners. A barbecue and garden furniture are available. The road to get to the house in the last stretch is not paved and is therefore not suitable for sports cars or particularly low ones. The route lends itself to pleasant walks during the day, while at night we recommend using a car because it is not lit. An unpaved road does not attract the occasional visitor, thus ensuring total privacy for our guests who can enjoy peace and quiet, characteristics also appreciated by wildlife. In fact, since hunting is prohibited in the area, it is not difficult to spot roe deer, hares, pheasants and numerous species of birds including turtledoves, jays, and bee-eaters. The building is a characteristic example of a Tuscan farmhouse on two floors with original terracotta floors, exposed beams and a wood-burning fireplace. The simple and comfortable environment combines the charm of tradition with modern comforts. The two bathrooms are equipped with a shower, sink and toilet. Ideal for those who want to spend a relaxing vacation in nature or by the pool, but also for those who want to visit the most fascinating Tuscan art cities (Florence, Siena, Pisa, Lucca...) all reachable in about an hour by car. The seaside resorts (Cecina, Castiglioncello, Donoratico...) are also about 40 km away. Volterra itself, a jewel of Etruscan, Roman and medieval art, is a pleasure for the visitor's eyes.
