The space This spacious old-style beach house has plenty of space for two families or a group of friends or workers with 4 Queen rooms and a spare trundle bed. It is air-conditioned with a fully equipped kitchen and comfy beds. There is plenty of off-street parking available including space for a boat in the undercover breezeway (12m x 4m x 2.75m high). It is just a short walk (max 400m) to the beach, shops, pub and esplanade parklands and cycle tracks, and only 1km to the boat ramp at Wild Cattle Creek. You will have access to: *Free WiFi *BBQ *Laundry *All linen supplied including bath towels *Weekly servicing for bookings longer than 7 days. Guest access Guests will have the property to themselves. There is a separate small apartment (or granny flat) which is also on the premises but it is not let out UNLESS the same group wants to use both the main house AND the granny flat. Other things to note If you have a large group it may be possible for us to also make available the granny flat - a semi-detached and self-contained unit on the same property which is not usually let out. It has a further 3 bedrooms (2x Queen, 1 x single). It is possible for 3 or 4 families in total to fit comfortably across the main house and the extra unit with a total of 7 bedrooms. Please contact us for details. Please DON'T expect a 5-star renovation or Hamptons-style holiday mansion. This is an OLD-STYLE beach holiday house with a very interesting history. In fact, this place started life as three separate units before soon after becoming Tannum's first grocery store! In its history it has also been a dress shop, real estate agency, video parlour, secondhand shop and family home. If you look, you can see remnants of this history through the building. Since 2010 it has been the place where our family escapes to the beach for a few weeks of simplicity every summer. Maybe your family can escape there too?
