If you're not out adventuring, relax by the gas fireplace, gasp at the stunning views from the outdoor entertaining deck, Netflix and chill with the smart TV or check out the gorgeous study nook by the fireplace. Downstairs you will discover 2 stunning bedrooms, a second living area with a second smart TV and extra bathrooms. Master Bedroom 1: The luxurious master bedroom has a huge king bed and ensuite. Bedroom 2: Configure the second bedroom as you wish: - 1 x king bed; - 2 x single beds; or - 3 singles (one of these will be a sturdy pop up trundle to be set up, complimentary bed linen provided for third bed). Each of the main rooms in the house have panel heaters, fans or air conditioning so you will be ready for any weather. Bathrooms have heated towel rails to keep your towels warm and dry. Store your snow, hiking, fishing and biking clothes and boots in the drying room with the bling bling golden sink and tap at the entrance. A Bosch washer and separate Bosch heat pump dryer iron is available for your use. Ample parking for one, maybe two at the chalet depending on the size of your car; lots of additional spaces are also available opposite the chalet for easy loading and unloading. A Tesla charging station for guests is located a few doors down from the Chalet. Bikes, skis and boards must be stored in the carspace and are not permitted inside or on the veranda; please bring a cable and lock if you wish to secure these as no sporting equipment is to be brought inside. A bike rack is provided at the front of the house. Please note that an external only security camera has been placed overlooking the front yard and driveway to assist with the safety of the premises and your equipment. Wifi has been connected to Optus, on the highest plan. However, due to the remote area we cannot guarantee availability and strength of connection at all times, so please have an alternative arrangement if you have critical matters to attend to which require internet access. Linen, towels, bathroom amenities and kitchen/laundry cleaning starter kits are provided for your comfort and convenience. The designer kitchen is well stocked with quality glassware, coffee machine, coffee grinder, Scanpan pots and pans, ovenware, microwave, toaster, kettle, servingware, cheese boards. The laundry is provisioned with an iron, ironing board, Dyson vaccum, drying rack and other cleaning items. The luxury chalet sits in the Lake Crackenback Resort and Spa. It is the gateway to the best and most famous ski and mountain biking resorts in Australia; being 15 minutes drive to Thredbo and right next to the ski tube to Perisher and Charlotte's Pass. Your stay will include free access to a myriad of seasonally available Resort activities such as kayaking, archery, golf, frisbee golf, tennis, pool, gym, trampolines, adventure ropes course, bike tracks, pump tracks, bushwalks and fishing or swimming in the idyllic, crystal clear river waters. Two wonderful restaurants are located in the Resort (bookings recommended) and thankfully, a small general store with essentials and a great bottle shop. Other things to note Children are most welcome but please be aware the Chalet is two storeys with steep stairs, a high verandah and a gas fireplace which is not fenced off (the facade can get hot to touch) and may not be suitable for some toddlers. They must be supervised at all times and guests bear all responsibility for their own, their children and their guests' children's health and safety during their stay. All children must be supervised at all times, particularly around heights, furniture, fencing, pools, lake, stairs, balconies, cleaning chemicals, kitchen utensils and fireplaces.
