Built over three levels, this beautiful barn conversion has lots of space for two and with the bedroom tucked away on the lowest level. It feels romantic and peaceful – certainly somewhere to escape to from the hectic pace of life. The sumptuous, pocket-sprung mattress and dark night skies will ensure your comfort and relaxation. Guest access The entire cottage is available for the guests to use. It also has a private terrace and secluded garden for the guests personal use. Other things to note Merrivale Barn has acquired the Visit England "We're Good to Go" industry standard mark which means that our business has followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, has a Risk Assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. Hand sanitizing is available for guest use prior to entering the property though we also advocate the policy of washing of hands. Due the current circumstances, our arrival and departure times have changed to reflect the enhanced cleaning regime for the protection of our guests and our our family. Check in is now 16:00 and check out on the day of departure is 09:00 Disabled / infirm guests are not in any way barred from use of this mid 19th Century one bedroom property. However, due to the cobbled driveway and granite riser steps onto the decking area and with the inability to install stair lifts/hoists in confined space stairwells over 3 floors, should any disabled /infirm guest wish to avail themselves of use of the Barn despite the restrictions mentioned, then please contact us prior to booking to discuss the property’s suitability.
