This warm & cosy cottage is the perfect spot for your next weekend getaway to escape the hustle and bustle! Nestled away on 200 acres, you can immerse yourself in nature and switch off. A three bedroom cottage that can accommodate up to 8 guests, whether it be an intimate couples escape or bring some family and friends along to enjoy the scenery The Crudine Creek runs through the property joining up to the Turon River, you may spot a platypus, or bring your fishing rod and snag a Redfin The space The cottage has wood heating to keep you cosy in the winter months & a BBQ outside to cook up a storm and enjoy the sunset from the veranda There is limited mobile reception, so you can truly switch off and enjoy the serenity The property is located 35km from the famous Hill End & 26km from the Historic Town of Sofala 60kms from the Wine Region of Mudgee & 64kms from the major town of Bathurst. Guest access Guests are able to access the creek for swimming and picnics. Also feel free to wander on property amongst the livestock, checkout the shearing shed and antique tractor collection. Collect your own eggs and there is a vegetable garden with seasonal produce guests can pick and eat Go swimming and gold panning at nearby Sofala, and visit Historic Hill End. The Mudgee wineries are 40 mins away and Rylstone is a 30 min drive with a variety of eating places, including the renowned Yum Cha restaurant. Also an easy drive if you’re planning to attend the annual Rylstone Street Feast. Other things to note There is a large fenced yard if the kids want to camp out and go possum spotting after dark Note: Wifi is not available.
