4 Star **** Guest Room in a Gorgeous rustic chalet with holiday rental license. Only just a few min away from the many beaches ,mountains and fantastic Calvia coast life. Located on a little hill in a very quite and peaceful little village with a stunning view over the mountains of Costa de la Calma. Private entrance /parking/ private sunny terrace/ kids play area and use of pool and gardens for a super price!:) The space From the drive way you enter your private fully furnised terrace and from here you will find the entrance to the down floor guest room. (Apt) Here is one big room with a comfortable double bed and a pull out sofa bed for possible 1 adult or 2 kids ( 140 cm wide ) Also a travel cot available :) Would recommend the room for max 2 people and one child . (Or maybe 3 adults ) The room is fully furnished with dinning table / chairs (highchair) Smart tv - Netflix - HBO - Disney- fast internet ( wifi) also the option to stream everything from your phone or tablet directly to tv with a chrome cast Airconditioning - heating /mobile bathroom heater /Deshumidifier Kitchenette :kettle - toaster- coffee machine- ( nesspreso ) microwave - fridge And all necessaries to make your breakfast or a small dinner . There is a private parking and a kids play garden with trampoline / tree -swing and mini slide :) . Also we have a garage to store bycicles for people who come to bike. You have access to drive way ( your parking ) With next to this your private cozy terrace with lounge furniture and tables chairs to enjoy your breakfast in the sun. The down floor area of the house , Garden on left side of the house. And the bbq area and pool in the backyard. Back garden and swimming pool area is shared with only when we are there . The house is built on a little hill , and from the first floor we are overlooking a part of Santa Ponsa till about the other side of Palma. It is a quiet area with lots of green / nature and many palm and pine trees. Within 2 min you are in the center of Santa Ponsa and also Paguera is only 2 min away ( by car ) Here you find Supermarkets / shops / boulevart / bars / lots of great restaurants and ofcourse the many different beaches. At the end of the long street Calle Bella Vista , wich means : "beautiful view" you will find a mirador This is a view piont where you see only sea and hills all around! Costa de la calma is located at the foot of the mountains de la Sierra Tramuntana and very near the starting points of great hikes and bycicle / mountainbike trips Beautiful little villages as Calvia / Escapdella / Galilea or Esporlas are near ! As on the other hand the beach is only a few minutes away . The capital Palma just only 20 min. Travel time from airport to Costa de la Calma is 30 min . Price taxi one way is 50€ The best way of transport in Mallorca is most probably by car . Specially from our house it is easy to get to the nice surroundings as the highway is near. This is why we RECOMMEND you to rent a car. To have a car is also convenient for food shopping etc.. which is only a few min drive..but to far to walk. Of course you could go walking and is about 20 min to the nearest villages and 15 min to beach. Ojo the way down is easy peasy but the way up is a tinny bit steep and will take a bit more effort but still a great walk. ( not in the warmest months ) Taxis are quite cheap... ( apart from the airport run :() A taxi from our house to villages as Santa Ponsa / Paguera is around the 7€ ( one way) The public transport in Mallorca has improved a lot .. And so also you could reach our house by bus . and since only last year there is a new bus line straight from the airport to our village there is a bus stop at the beginning of the street . It’s about 15 min to house . As we live on the first floor of the chalet we will be near to welcome you and give you all the information you need to have a pleasant stay . If for some reason we won't be there at arrival time we have this great key safe next to the main entrance of down floor area and we will provide you with a code to be able to find your keys in safe :) and do a self check in :) Guest access To get to the house from the main street you need to take a small quite narrow path up to the house . Here at nr 48 F you find your own private indicated parking spot. On the drive way to the house . Or near the house up the hill . An other option is to leave the car down and walk up the hill. You have access to drive way ( shared parking ) private terrace The down floor (apt) of the house , Garden on left side of the house with little play area for children / trampoline /back yard / pool area And of course the bbq area at the backyard. You could also use the big bbq for a nice dinner :) Other things to note Like all the hotels /hostels and also the airbnb locations We charge you a little fee per person per night . ( Only first 9 nights ) This is called the Balearic tourist tax . We as owners need to pay this fee every year to the government as they count all the guest we had . This is why we charge a 1,50€ pp per night and children under 16 no charge . NOTE : There are 3 cats on the property , they are the most loving sweet and cuddly animals . They live outside and won't be near you if you dont like . We do not remove them from the property :) all the guest we have had absolutely loved them :) and choose to have them around on terrace :) As you could read in the feedbacks they are a great addition to the house :) There is a possibility to use our laundery room upstairs where you could use laundery machine / dryer / ironing board / iron and clotheshorse :) Babysitters We offer you a reliable and very trustworthy babysit service for if you like to go for dinner / night out / also durring the day . Experienced babysitters And reasonable priced ! Book in advance.. :) The pool is not in use during the winter / spring season . And closed until the beginning of May . This usually is the most convenient month for a swim in pool and the temperatures are much better for a dip .
