Visit our off grid shepherds hut perfect for 1 or 2 people to retreat and restore. Surrounded by 1 acre organic orchard. Outside canopied cooking area with charcoal french stove and Weber barbecue. Relax in the hammock overlooking the pond. Our small working farm is within an area of outstanding natural beauty in West Dorset. A lovely snug double bed with sheets and duvet with cover provided. Wood fired stove. Compost Loo, outside spring water shower. The space Our fully insulated Shepherds hut is basic and beautiful in its simplicity. It has a light airy feel with a white interior and painted blue wooden beams. There is a tiny, very efficient, wood burning stove. The warm, cosy double bed has vintage under bed storage. There are games, warm blankets and books. Lighting is from lanterns and candle light as there is no electricity! The floor is made from reclaimed plank flooring with sheepskin rugs. There is an outside canopied cooking and seating area with a french charcoal burner, single gas burner and Weber barbecue with beautiful views over the pond.
