Fox Farms Little House is the perfect place to unplug from your busy life...located on a horse farm in Waxhaw, it is a peaceful retreat for a couple looking for relaxation and a beautiful setting. Whether you are walking the 155 acres of trails, relaxing with a good book on the porch, or enjoying the many animals on the property, you will leave here recharged. 5 minutes from downtown Waxhaw, 20 to Monroe, and 20 minutes to Ballantyne and Waverly. The space ** No Cleaning Fee** With all that we have going on in our busy lives...rushing around, tons of traffic, and so much to think about, our guest house is the perfect place to come and unplug from all of that stress. Fox Farms Little House is a nicely appointed guest house nestled in the woods. The views are spectacular from both porches, with views of the horses grazing and other wildlife. On a visit, you can take a walk around our farm and feed treats to our mini horse and donkey, along with our free-range chickens, llamas and goats. And now we have a new addition...a wonderful potbelly micro pig named Penelope! We leave treats in the Little House so you may enjoy feeding all the pets. When you come back to the cottage, you will find a cozy atmosphere with a comfortable queen sized bed and recliner chair. There is even a twin sized mattress in the loft overlooking the entire great room. There is a wonderful shower with toiletry items included, like soap, shampoo, and conditioner along with luxury bath towels. The small kitchen area is furnished with everything you will need for your visit...microwave, small refrigerator, toaster, and a Nespresso coffee maker (Vertuo plus edition). **WE DO NOT HAVE A TV PROVIDED, but we have Wi-Fi for streaming.** We have two porches that have seating for several people, and a firepit is available. Fox Farms Little House is located just minutes from downtown Waxhaw, and about 25 minutes from Charlotte and 485. The guest house is about 45 minutes from downtown Charlotte, and about 45 minutes from Concord Mills and Lowe’s Motor Speedway. We are about an hour from the Charlotte airport, and about 25 minutes from the Monroe regional airport, making the guest house a perfect retreat for busy business types or couples seeking a romantic getaway. Being travellers ourselves, we understand what people are looking for in a good Airbnb experience...peace and quiet, a comfortable bed, and nice amenities. We have really enjoyed making this place a gorgeous respite from your everyday life with luxury touches and comfortable atmosphere. Come and unplug with us! Other things to note We do have two dogs named Ranger and Raven. They are Australian Shepherds and are super friendly and will run over to you and say hello. They stay with us most of the time and are inside at night. We also have a donkey that will occasionally bray (especially when hungry) and the rooster is up at all hours...it is really a myth when they talk about them crowing only in the morning! Most find this peaceful, but if animals bother you, then this might not be the place for you! All the animals are well mannered and very sweet.
