Strikes the perfect balance between a fun filled & relaxing getaway. Ideal base for exploring Galway City, the iconic Connemara region & the Aran Islands.Having a car is advisable. The space Public transport to Pinehurst Retreat is very limited so guests are advised to have their own car/ transportation. Pinehurst Retreat is a completely private guest suite with its own entrance & outside patio area exclusively for guests use. The Retreat has free WiFi (100Mbps) & a smart TV with Netflix, Amazon prime & Disney plus access. There is also a selection of board games & books to enjoy. In addition there are some light weights, yoga mats , skipping rope etc to facilitate exercise regimes. Although the suite does not have a full kitchen it is equipped with a kettle, toaster, cafetière ( french press), fridge, microwave, dishes & cutlery. Tea , coffee & some light breakfast items are provided for your convenience. A high chair , travel cot ,baby bath , baby toys & buckets & spades for the beach are also available on request. Barna village is 5 minutes walk from Pinehurst Retreat & has more than its fair share of excellent restaurants, many of which do great takeaway options with delivery available via justeat.ie . ( list of recommended restaurants available on request) In addition guests are also welcome to enjoy all the gardens around the property , there are benches & garden seats scattered around....relax & take in the fresh Atlantic air. Guest access In addition to their own private patio ,guests are welcome to use & enjoy all the garden surrounding the property. There are benches & seats throughout the garden for you to sit & enjoy the fresh Atlantic air & the beautiful views. We may even get some sunshine!! Other things to note Our gorgeous Gordon setter Indie lives with us & is often in the garden to welcome guests. She’s very friendly & very licky! & is always looking for someone to play with her but if for any reason you would prefer not to meet her please let me know in advance .
