Hailing from Belgium, Yael Siso is known for her upscale residential interior design, incorporating European elegance and influence into her projects in Israel and abroad. Through Yael Siso’s signature finesse, she creates a home-away-from-home feeling to ensure the uppermost comfort and ease for every guest. Loft-like interiors and industrial elements run through each apartment, merging the buildings rich history with contemporary, urban design. The walls and ceilings have been stripped back, exposing the untreated cement and in some places, pieces of seashells can be seen buried in the original 100-year-old concrete which was made from sand sourced from the Tel Aviv shores. With a natural and raw theme, Yael Siso chose warm, wooden flooring to accompany the organic walls, illustrating texture and color in its authentic form. To balance this, minimalist lighting was selected to contour the apartment lines, accentuating its geometric shapes. When it came down to division of space, Yael Siso prioritized creating a feeling of amplitude and vastness. The apartments are distinguished by their traditional, high ceilings - a characteristic predominantly found in the city’s first neighborhood. Divided into eight unique units, each space has unique features, furnished with plush pieces from international designers including Minotti, Molteni, Cassina, Moroso, Paola Lenti, Baxter, Bonaldo, Moooi, Kristalia, Saba Italia, Linie Design and Nani Marquina. Citizens of Israel, whether residents of Israel or other countries are subject to Israeli VAT (Value Added Tax,) currently 17%, according to the laws of Israel. VAT is not included in the Airbnb rental fee in Israel and must be paid by the renter before entering the apartment. The obligation is on the renter to make arrangements for paying VAT to the Owner before arrival. Non-citizens of Israel are exempt from VAT but must produce a copy of their foreign passport as well as their entry B2 Visa (given to all non-citizens at the airport upon arrival.)
