You are very welcome in our home! We live on the north side of Stroud, with the open countryside just a minute away. Our home is a large bungalow, with 2 living rooms, and a spacious light and airy kitchen with dining area. Our home is particularly well located for those who love walking, and the Cotswold Way, Laurie Lee's Slad valley and the Painswick valley are all within easy walking distance. Equally it is just 20 minutes walk to the town. The space Our front and back gardens are set to lawn but with trees and beautiful shrubs. The back garden has apple, plum, and greengage trees, gooseberries, raspberries, and fantastic views towards the 5 valleys. There is also a large decking area for enjoying the sun or for barbecuing which we do a lot when the weather is good. The position and angle of the house and garden means we get a lot of sun (when it's out!). There are lots of walks close by, around the villages, across the hills, and through the woods. And the views.... The Cotswold Way passes less than a mile away too! If you are walking the whole thing, we can arrange to pick you up/drop you off nearby on request in advance. Guest access Your bedroom, shared bathroom/shower/toilet, living room, large hallway, kitchen, front and back gardens (both with seating areas). Lots of free parking on premises! You are welcome to relax in the living room or sit out in the garden when it's fine! During your stay Always willing to offer advice and assistance - just ask! We'd love to hear about your travels! Other things to note We don't smoke and we request that you don't either, not even in the garden. Please follow our example and remove your shoes in the house :) Come tell us all about your travels!
