Welcome to our family holiday home near Aviemore in the Cairngorms in the Scottish Highlands. We are located on the edge of the forest, at the end of a quiet residential cul-de-sac in the heart of the scenic village of Carrbridge. With a cosy open fire, the house offers a warm welcome for up to 7 guests, and is the perfect base for exploring. This is our home and not a 'party house' - please bear this in mind when booking. Front and rear gravelled gardens (no lawn). Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty, you can be as relaxed or as active as you wish. Guest access Guests have sole use of the property and private garden with off road parking. The garden is fenced and is laid out in gravel and heathers (no lawn). Rear garden is fully enclosed. The house also has a large upright freezer, overhead clothes drying pulley and airing cupboard. We do not have an electric tumble drier. En suite shower is a walk in cubicle shower, with just the lip of the door frame to negotiate. Complimentary basket of firewood to get you started. Thereafter logs can be purchased locally from the garage or Spar shop in the village. Young children are very welcome but we do recommend parents check the property on arrival for any items they may consider not to be child-friendly. Unfortunately we don’t take bookings from groups of under 25s or hen and stag parties. We are not a party house. This is our home in a wonderfully peaceful residential area and, along with our lovely neighbours, we wish to keep it that way. Please do not engage in any activity that would be seen as anti-social or cause disruption to others. No fireworks please. Thank you for your understanding.
