The space This 18th-century building was once a barn for sheep (Bergerie) artfully restored using the original stone and beams to a charming 3-bedroom home on the estate of Moulin de la Roque Noves. It is the perfect escape for up to 6 guests. There are several guest cottages on the estate. The owners, Guy and Gaby live on the estate in the large manor house. The house comes with: Exterior: - Private Wisteria-covered stone terrace (facing south). - Built-in Barbecue. - Teak table, forged iron chairs, and 2 lounge chairs. Living, kitchen, and dining area - Cozy living room sectional sofa, original stone fireplace, TV, and WIFI (fiber optics). - Fully equipped kitchen with microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, convection oven, gas cooktop, Nespresso, french press and drip coffee makers, and hot water for tea. - Charming dining area with antique oak table and chairs that can seat up to 10 persons. All bed, bath and kitchen linens included as well as bath and pool towels. Guest access During your stay at Moulin de la Roque you are welcome to use all facilities: These facilities are shared with other guests on the estate. - Large swimming pool with lounge area and a pool house including dressing-room, indoor and outdoor showers and toilet.Secured all around by fence and special child gate. - A recreation area that includes table tennis and table football. - 2 large trampolines, both with net for security - A badminton and/or volleyball court. - A pétanque court (provencal ball game) Beautifully lit for night games. - Large lawn and gardens. - Private onsite secure parking (gated estate) - Walking trails in our forest of 350 hectares Other things to note In the off-season, we will welcome you any day you wish to arrive or depart. As it is quite a preparation to prepare your home, we prefer a minimum stay of at least 5 days. In the colder months, as we drop our rental rates so low, we include 22 Kwh of electricity per day. Above this, we charge 0,18€, per Kwh. This is mainly to cover the cost of heating. We have a very nice and gentle dog that lives with us and is free on the property. His name is Gucci and he is very popular. He waits for your car each afternoon to welcome you home and of course, will stop by to give you his paw during your barbecue. All the kids play and love him and he is very good at seducing the adults as well. We are very confident, he is well-behaved and never aggressive. We stand behind him 100%. Our guests consider him our ambassador.
