We named this two bed suite the Bruce Roberts and Cheryl Shelton-Roberts tribute suite. It has a large private bathroom, perfect for families. One sleeping area has a kingsize bed; the other has a full bed and toddler bed. The bathroom has two sinks, bathtub, and shower. In the afternoon, take your wine glass through the sliding glass door onto the porch that runs across the back of the house for views of the sunset over the sound. Or hop into the hot tub just outside the room! NO PETS PLEASE! The space PLEASE NOTE: The two sleeping areas are part of a suite, and are connected to one another by a short hallway. Although the entire suite is behind a locked door, there are no doors to the individual sleeping areas, so this suite may be appropriate for families with children rather than four adults (although we have had four adults stay in the suite). Please also note that we have two other rooms that we rent out on Airbnb (the Egyptian Room and the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse Room), so it is possible that you may be sharing the common area on the second floor and the large first floor with other guests....there's plenty of room to spread out! Our home is just a 5 minute walk from the beautiful beach! It is newly carpeted, and offers attractively decorated "theme" rooms with private ("en suite") bathrooms. An elevator brings you and your gear to your room, and just outside, a hot tub and swimming pool beckon you to come on in! Lighthouses, a historic lifesaving station, water sports galore, casual coastal dining, and specialty shopping are just a few miles down the road. Come relax, recharge, and enjoy our private haven: Sunrise Over Salvo! NO PETS PLEASE! Guest access You'll have access to our pool (in season), hot tub, full size refrigerator, mini-fridge, two microwave ovens, outdoor grill, and pool table. During your stay Although we love to meet new people (and John can talk endlessly about the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse), we will interact with you as little or as much as you'd like. We are constantly working on various projects, but we're always willing to take a break. If you need privacy and solitude, we will respect your wishes. Other things to note We bought this house in the fall of 2017 with the idea of setting up these rooms as AirBnb, so we have tried to set them up with YOU in mind as much as possible. These are not accommodations that have been quickly thrown together; we want you to have a quality experience, and to encourage your friends and family to share Sunrise Over Salvo with us!
